We can take off in any direction given the size of the field, permission has been granted to fly as long as we do not keep flying over the neighbours farms at low level.  use the field area to climb up to 1250 ft qnh and fly away, ( most traffic will go NW-N at 1500ft )

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Barton Aerodrome is only 4 Miles SE of the air field and most of the traffic will come over in our direction. you MUST at all times keep an eye out for other air craft,  it is quite busy...        You are also in the Manchester low level route area.  Barton radio is 120.25 you need to ADVISE them of your presence.  call them on 0161 787 7326

"DO NOT FLY OVER TOWARDS BARTON."

Do not contact Manchester  radio,  they do not want us to,  just stay below 1250ft qnh.  but, for the small area we are in 2000ft qnh is ok.

After you have flown around 4 miles NORTH  you can climb up to 3500ft qnh.  Please check the air map on the maps page
